Daytime full coverage Tutorial

Hi everyone! So sorry for the late post. YouTube has not been my friend today, so I decided to forgo the video tutorial and write up a step by step tutorial instead.

I am going to teach you all how I do a full coverage look that I wear during the daytime. It’s fairly simple, and all of the products that I use (with the exception of one) can be bought at the drugstore.

So let’s get started. Here are all the products that I will be using.

Step 1: Start with a clean face, then apply your eye shadow primer. I’m using this one by NYX.

Step 2: Apply a light beige color to 3/4 of your lid. I’m using the Brights palette by Maybelline.

Step 3: Apply the light brown color from the Kiss eyebrow kit to the outer lid and crease. Then blend it out.

Step 4: Take the plum color from the Brights palette and apply it over the brown eye shadow you just applied. This will give it more of a brown-ish purple look. It is an optional step, so feel free to skip this step if you want more of a natural color.

Step 5: Take the beige color again and apply it all over your brow bone.

Step 6: Take the white color and apply that just under your eyebrow to highlight.

Step 7: Then take the dark brown and apply that along the outer half of your lower lid.

Step 8: Now we move on to brows. I’m using the Mac eyebrow cream in the color Dirty Blonde. I got this as a free sample and I absolutely love it. And you apply it with an angled brush. And if you need to soften the color just take the spooly brush and brush it over your eyebrows.

Step 9: Now we move on to eyelashes. I need to curl mine in order for them too look long and full. So I use this eyelash curler and this mascara. And I apply 2 coats of mascara, and I let the first coat dry for about 5 minutes before I apply the second coat. This helps prevent clumping.

Step 10: For the face, I use Maybelline’s Baby Skin Pore Eraser primer and Covergirl True match foundation. First apply the primer all over your face, and then for the full coverage look, apply the foundation with a foundation brush all over your face and blend it onto your neck too.

Step 11: Now set your foundation with a powder. I’m using L’Oreal True Match powder. After that, contour your face with the brown powder. For this I use Maybelline’s Dream wonder powder. And finally add blush for a finished touch.

Here is the finished look!

I hope you understood this well. If you have any questions, please leave a comment. And again, I’m sorry that I couldn’t get a video uploaded today! If you are interested in buying any of these products, check out my favorites page.
