5 Minute Day Look

It is 10:12 MST. The baby is asleep and the husband is asleep. But I am too excited about this new blog to go to bed!

So I am going to show you my favorite 5 minute day look and how you can do this look yourself

So you start with a fresh clean face. Hello gorgeous!

And then you always apply your eye shadow base. I’m using NYX base. (you can find all of the links to the products I’m using under Riley’s Favorites on the home page)

Apply all over lid.

Then apply a matte light color eyeshadow to the inner corner of your lid and along the brow. I’m using the Naked 3 pallet. But you can use a dupe that works for you.

After that, apply a shimmery light color to the top of your lid only.

Once you have completed that step you then apply the dark color to your outer lid and crease.

And then you apply a shimmery dark color to your lower lid along the outer half.

Almost done! Now it’s time for the brows. NEVER FORGET YOUR BROWS!!!! If you do, you will look very strange. But if you are blessed with lush and thick brows, unlike myself, you might be able to forgo this step. For the brows I’m using Kiss brand eyebrow kit.

First do the highlight under your eyebrows.

Then apply the brown powder to your eyebrow. I’m using the lighter shade of brown since I’m a blondie. I don’t want my eyebrows to look too dark. You want to fill in the front portion of your brow first, then do the back half.

Finally the lashes! I use a Revlon eyelash curler. And the Rocket Volume mascara in black by Maybelline New York. You will want to curl first then apply the mascara. To make sure you don’t go past 5 minutes you will only apply one coat per eye. But if you have some extra time then feel free to do as second coat.

And Now your look is complete! If you have some extra time you can do my favorite trick to make sure your mascara doesn’t bleed onto your lower lid. I apply a light coat of my facial powder under my eyes. That’s it! Super easy.

And here is the final look.
